Biography

Martin Kelly lives in Darwin and is a Consultant with the Territory law firm, Ward Keller.

Prior to his appointment at Ward Keller, Martin was a partner with a national law firm and has over 15 years' experience as a lawyer focusing on commercial property transactions.

Martin loves to talk any type of football and played rugby union for 15 years with clubs in NSW and the NT. He has represented the NT in 7s and 15 a side rugby and has undertaken a number of volunteer pursuits for his beloved South Darwin Rabbitohs. On the top of his achievements off the field is Martin's work for the South Darwin Sporting League (SDSL), a significant sporting body in the NT. On behalf of the SDSL, Martin was instrumental in the negotiation and construction of a new $25M stadium in Marrara which included the NRL and Northern Territory Government as stakeholder partners.

He is a passionate advocate for exercise being fundamental to a person’s good health and wellbeing. With this is mind, Martin wants to see more kids with disabilities engaged in the Australian sporting landscape.
