Sport Access Foundation is proud to announce Huperco as the new naming supporter of our No Barriers Grants for the 2026 and 2027 grant rounds, helping more young people with disabilities access and participate in sport.

Huperco (Human Performance Collaborative) exists to help people become their best selves, not just for their own benefit, but for the positive ripple effect that high performance creates in families, communities, and across generations. True high performance, in Huperco’s view, goes far beyond personal achievement. It is about creating positive change that radiates outward, touching lives we may never meet.

Drawing inspiration from Olympic athletes, Huperco understands that the relentless pursuit of excellence, whether or not an athlete stands on the podium, it demonstrates the transformative power of determination, resilience and unwavering commitment. Their journeys remind us that real victory lies not in medals, but in the courage to pursue your potential and inspire others to do the same.

This philosophy sits at the heart of Huperco’s support for Sport Access Foundation. The team believes that physical wellness and mental resilience create waves of impact that strengthen entire communities. Every person they work with becomes a catalyst for positive change, influencing lives they may never know they have touched.

For the past six years, proceeds from all Huperco programs and services (including earlier work under Brendyn Appleby Strength and Conditioning) have supported organisations such as Sport Access Foundation, the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and the Bob Brown Foundation. That long-term commitment to giving back has meant a great deal to SAF, and we are incredibly pleased to see this relationship grow into a more formal partnership through the No Barriers Grants.

Founder Brendyn Appleby brings deep experience from his career in elite sport, including his time at Hockey Australia, to his work at Huperco. After leaving hockey, he established Huperco as a way to collaborate with colleagues and friends from high-performance sport to support the broader community in health, wellbeing and performance. His belief that performances should always serve a bigger purpose aligns powerfully with SAF’s mission.

As a volunteer-led organisation, Sport Access Foundation relies on the generosity of fundraisers and supporters like Huperco. Every dollar raised goes directly into our grant programs, creating real and immediate impact for young people with disability and helping to remove barriers to participation in sport and active recreation.

Through this new naming partnership, Huperco will directly contribute to life‑changing opportunities for No Barriers Grant recipients, while helping us expand the reach and impact of the program. Together, we will support more young people with disability to experience the confidence, connection and joy that sport can bring.

We are deeply grateful to Brendyn and the Huperco community for their ongoing commitment to inclusion in sport.
