Every week our Honour Roll (previous recipients) are continually honing their sporting skills and enjoying playing sports with their mates. There were so many highlights over the year, and we have a few to share with you now:

  • Sean Kendrick - 2019 Honour Roll received a $1,500 SAF grant to purchase cricket bowling equipment. In the past year, he has been awarded a Baggy Green for the men's Australian Blind Cricket, the youngest player to represent Australia. Sean is part of the contingent in the Australian squad for the 2022 T20 Blind Cricket World Cup in India
  • Col Peace and Kiera Stephens - 2017 and 2019 Honour Roll, both backed up their debut performance at Tokyo Paralympics last year with selection in their first Commonwealth Games. Both came away with medal performances.
  • Jamieson Lesson - 2020 Honour Roll, won her first World Cup this year with the Australian Boccia team.
  • Ella Newbery - awarded a grant to help her participation in equestrian from our 2019 Honour Roll, has progressed to competing in Equine Pathway days organised by Para-Equestrian.
  • Layla Sharpe - 2021 Honour Roll has had an incredible year achieving outstanding results in her final year of school and breaking 3 Australian records in athletics including 400m to 1500m events.
  • Jack Howell - 2021 Honour Roll has had a stellar year competing in his first World Para-triathlon series races which finished last week at Abu Dhabi in his first World Championship.

To all our recipients and many applicants who keep in touch with us - a big congratulations on all your determination and huge enthusiasm which is infectious. We love seeing you all thrive in your chosen sports.
